Chevon M. Moore
Principal
AIA, CDT
A long-time North Carolina transplant from the Midwest, Chevon’s fascination with historic and vernacular architecture began in the small towns of northern Indiana where she spent her childhood. Building on that interest, Chevon attended the University of Notre Dame where she holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture and learned the importance of placemaking and human scale in creating resilient communities. She now finds inspiration in designing contextual buildings and authentic renovations that benefit the community and preserve our architectural heritage.
As principal, designer, and resident code-specialist, Chevon draws from over 20 years of experience in diverse project types of both large and small scale. Chevon is a skilled listener and collaborator, ensuring projects meet each clients’ unique needs. She volunteers as an Advisory Council member to the Pittsboro Boys and Girls Club, serves on the Downtown Pittsboro Advisory Board, and is a past director of AIA-Triangle. Chevon is also happy to call herself a Chatham County resident, having recently moved to Moncure with her family.
